Miro Sprague is a Pasadena-based pianist, composer, and bandleader. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and the Thelonious Monk Institute at UCLA, he has been Karrin Allyson's pianist since 2015 and has performed with Greg Osby, Ingrid Jensen, and Jeff Parker. He's joined by bassist Karl McComas-Reichl, who has recorded with artists from Larry Goldings to Laufey, and drummer Christian Euman, who trained at the same UCLA institute and has toured with Billy Childs and drummed on the scores for Green Book and Ford v. Ferrari. The three are Sprague's regular working trio, heard together at Sam First and across the LA scene. The trio plays two sets of originals and standards.
